Not a completely new idea, yet the execution by Judge Walsh and his bailiff in the first two episodes far exceeded expectations. The bailiff and Walsh's chemistry is noticeable. The issues that Judge Walsh presides over would make many men cry, but not Judge Walsh. Judge Walsh stoically listens and provides entertaining feedback that cuts to the plaintiff's/defendant's issues in a deeper way than typical leaders. In addition, the verdicts are sincere, leaving viewers with little questioning over Judge Walsh's reasoning.
