They call it procedural crime. It's so poorly conceived I'm just not sure WHY this has continued and expanded. Like the Chicago PD stuff. The amount of writers must be phenomenal! It's just so bland. None of the actors are good enough to push beyond the Christmas movie lottery. It's a thing you know? Names of d-list actors put In a Hallmark producers hat and see who gets a Christmas movie. Pays the bills etc. It's the same level of credibility that FBI has. Dreadful plots, dreadful script. Dreadful acting. I mean, so dreadful! Yet here we are with 5 seasons so far of this trash. I despair for the brain cells of Americans. I really do.
