This episode was so random. Not knowing that I'm watching some special episode I wondered the whole 20 minutes what feels so "off" about this episode.
So, Neptune is celebrating is 5000th birthday, but turns out he is missing his son Triton, whom he banished himself?! Of course SpongeBob heads out to get Triton to join the party, but that doesn't go as planned...
I can't even really say what bothered me the most: the uninnovative base plot, the inconsistent character writing, the incoherent character behaviour, the really random jokes or the unsatisfactory end.
Never would I've ever thought that there could be a SpongeBob episode so bad, I would almost not be able to watch until the end.
