Now don't get me wrong, all the production aspects were amazing. Great actors, great sets, great cinematography, all that was amazing.
What I found particularly frustrating was the long drawn own scenes, or 'sub-plot' parts of it. After watching the first few episodes, I found myself fast forwarding some parts to be no less knowledgeable about what was going on, and that can't be a positive.
Don't get me wrong the series as a whole Is really compelling and disturbing. And I like the fact that Donny as a character is surprisingly as unsympathetic as the stalker, which i didn't expect. But this whole series could have been 2 episodes shorter easily. There would have been a way for it to have filled those episodes by explaining some of the threadbare plots, but it didn't, so that aspect was pretty disappointing.
