This is such a beautiful film and unique in the way only a queer romcom could be. It challenges cultural norms and cinematic norms for relationships, gender, and personal expression. All while making you laugh a lot, cry a bit, and feel everything deeply. It leads with authenticity every step of the way. It is shot beautifully, the acting is real and engaging, and the storyline is unique. It's a romantic comedy in every essence of the genre but it handles each beat with a queer outlook and a strive to guide the audience toward the love and light that is at the center of the film. It's inspiring to see these queer stories being told so well and so gorgeously.
