This incredible and ever acclaimed drama, by a true auteur, is definitely one very much deserving of all the praise it has gotten throughout the years - and perhaps then some; it is indeed an ingenius mix of genres to splendor.
The actors all do an incredible job, as one would expect from such a legendary cast indeed, very career defining, emotional, and ever exciting. All of this accompined by a stellar script for the ages, excellent mix of the typical run-of the mill medieval picture and a detective story. Excellent pacing and writing.
The cinematography, cutting and editing is incredible, very beautifully put together, and some truly outstanding costumes works.
Overall, definitely a masterful achievement, and one that deserves perhaps further recognition!
