I don't know why every episode this season got reviewed so harshly. I can understand not liking the new Korvo voice (I personally think it's great), and this season definitely had a rocky start with the first couple episodes, but now it's back at it with another knockout of a wall episode. I was honestly worried before watching this season that it wouldn't be good because of the reviews, but this episode is proof that they're all a load of nothing. People are just upset Justin Roiland was fired. Korvo is not even in this episode. I liked Roiland as Korvo, but his voice never felt as quintessential to the character as it was for Rick and Morty. They handled it well, and they continue to maintain the same level of quality without him.
