From a charming young lady, she changes into a disheveled bespectacled woman, thinking that in this way she will get rid of importunate admirers and find peace at work. Meanwhile, the roles are reversed and it is Joasia who falls in love with her boss, attorney Robert Rostalski, who unfortunately already has a friend. Joasia decides to go to the Fashion Ball, where the patron is a member of the jury. She borrows a glamorous gown and becomes the sensation of the prom. She is unanimously voted Fashion Queen and wins the heart of her boss.
