Chiquita, the artist's Spanish model, has one of her fits of temperament and quits the job. In desperation, the artist advertises for a model and his ad falls under the eye of Sis, as that maiden is bemoaning the fickleness of Rube, who has fallen victim to the lures of the village flirt. Sis admits that "she has a good figure" so she decides to go to the city and conquer. The artist is out when she arrives but his bumptious valet has no objection to playing the master so Sis is posed and all is ready for the painting when Chiquita arrives in repentant mood. But she flares up jealously at the sight of the new model and leads Sis a merry chase about the studio while the valet goes off to get his master. There are all sorts of complications and mixed-up action before Sis finds her way hack to the farm and the arms of Rube.
