Ham and Bud get jobs in Prof. Nonpareil's road show. Bud's job is to exercise Ethel's snakes, while Ham becomes the assistant of Prof. Nonpareil, a knife-throwing artist. When the professor is taken ill Ham takes his place, while he makes Bud the target. Ham is a wizard at throwing the glistening steel, fortunately for Bud.
