Bert catches his stenographer and clerk playing pot-and-take, but enters the game and cleans them both out. He celebrates by taking a drink of home brew; but seeing a line of moth balls rolling on the floor and mistaking them for a snake, swears off and throws away his flask. Ethel and Bert go for a walk. A blind man mistakes her fur coat for his dog; and, attaching his leash to it, is led along the boardwalk for several blocks. Ethel sees the leash and attaches it to a cop's coat. The cop leads the blind man to jail and Ethel and Bert walk on to a frankfurter stand, where the coat is recognized by the "hot dogs." Ethel is met by the collector who has come to take her coat. Her girl friends all buy one and the collector lets her keep hers as compensation.
