The film tells the story of 11-year-old Jared Hara, a Florida boy who discovered that he was going blind due to a hereditary disorder passed to him genetically by his mother. Forced to give up his favorite sport, hockey, Jared turns to the guitar. When his father Mark learns that one of his favorite bands, SHINEDOWN, is playing nearby, Jared gets a chance to meet the band on their tour bus
