Nanasaheb Abhyankar a rich industrialist is looking for a bride for his son Anant he comes across Sumati niece of his friend Bapu she touches his heart on very first appearance.Sumati and Anant get married but Anant passes on the day of wedding due to massive heart attack. Nanasaheb then decides to marry Sumati to his younger son Avinash who isn't happy with it a she loves Maya.Avinash marries Sumati as Nanasaheb health deteriorates but never accepts her as his wife.Maya and her father Chavan intentions aren't good and lure Avinash for money.While Chavan also starts to extort money from Sumati by blackmailing her with photos of Maya and Avinash.Sumati faces everything only for Nanasaheb but Captain Shirish whose friend of Avinash and Sumati then decides to help her.
