Sure Thing is a short comedy written by David Ives. This particular version of Sure Thing is modernized and takes place during the holiday season for more relatable references in pop culture. Savannah is reading a romance novel by herself on a Saturday at a cafe. Morgan runs into her while he is looking for somewhere to sit in the crowded restaurant. Each time Savannah and Morgan respond to one another in a negative manner their conversation starts over with the sound of a bell. This goes on over and over until eventually both of them end up leaving together and become a match made in heaven. This short romantic comedy is produced by Morgan Johnson. Him and Savannah Nichols play fictional versions of themselves. Gabe Lawrence and Connor Vannatta are both doing camera work for this short. Morgan Johnson is a filmmaker with a background in public relations. Savannah Nichols is an actress at Southeast Missouri State University's River Campus.
