Detective Lewis is an officer of the law, a stand up person, someone everyone can look up to...or so in his own mind. What all others see is a jerk, egotistical, rule breaking, narcissistic douche-bag that nobody really likes. The only reason he is allowed on the police force after all this time is because he usually gets things done and in a timely manner. He has a partner who, in a way, is the complete polar opposite of him. Joseph, Lewis' police partner, is a mild mannered man who decides to follow the rules and obey the laws put before him. He normally scolds the work that Lewis does on many cases, but admires Lewis' ability to have so many problems, but still be one of the greatest detective minds in history. As they say, opposites attract in this dramedy after a man is found stabbed to death outside of a library. It is up to Lewis and Joseph to figure out the killer.
