Little Yu is smuggled to America by snake-head Mr. K. In order to blackmail ransom from Yu's family in China, Mr. K asks an older immigrant Mike to hold Little Yu as hostage in his house. Without knowing the truth, Little Yu trusts Mike and even considers him as his role model. However, the story takes a dramatic turn after two phone calls.
