The Royal Barge, with the Prince and Princess on board, is preceded by quaint native boats manned by a host of rowers, who, using both legs and arms in propelling their craft, make up an item of great animation. The Royal party and suite are well shown as the Barge slowly passes, while other less splendid barges and more native boats complete the picture.
