Water is the story of Amanda, attractive woman about 45 years old. As part of the high bourgeoisie of Los Angeles, she is afraid to become old. Her husband, Jack, is a businessman. His work led him increasingly away from home, so Amanda fills the void of loneliness trying desperately to satisfy sexually herself with other men. In the life of Amanda there is a milestone: her nurse, which knows all hers secrets. To prove her femininity, Amanda decides to show that the young still feel her sensuality. So she seduces a young visitor, her nurse's alleged nephew. When the nurse realizes what is happening between Amanda and the young man, she admits that the young man is Amanda's son, so to stop all her problems, she decides to kill herself.
