Layla, a little girl from Chaouen, is a dreamy child with a fertile imagination. It is inhabited by the character of Sayda, a 16th century queen who dominated northern Morocco up to Gibraltar. She falls ill and her worried mother decides to take her to Tetouan for treatment. One evening, she discovers that all the women in the house are going to take the fresh air on the terrace.
