An employee of Potentia Pharmaceuticals commits suicide because of a lapse on her part that has resulted in significant damage to the company's reputation. When the CEO, Sylvia Winston, comes to know of the death, she invites the mother of the deceased employee to the office to ensure that this development does not turn into a PR Scandal. However, the mother (Rachel Smith) comes in with an intention of her own. With differing motives, the boardroom of Potentia Pharmaceuticals becomes an arena for these two strong-willed women. While Rachel fights for the reputation of her deceased daughter, Sylvia fights to ensure the reputation of her company, leading to a battle between morality and motherhood.
