Burn Bright is the story of Mark, a young man tortured by the memories of his abusive father and the death of his sister Blair, so much so that images of these memories begin to bleed into his every waking moment. The film focuses on Mark arriving at the party of his only friend Jack. Finding he is unable to handle being around so many people and in such a chaotic space he lashes out at people as the memories of his sister begin to become more and more visceral. Eventually mark loses himself in his memories, as it is the only way he may survive. The film explores themes of memory, loss, guilt, loneliness and the suffering we can impose on ourselves.
