Gilbert, a young and adventurous boy has a love for outer space and dreams of becoming an astronaut. He receives a pet goldfish from his older sister Phoebe for his birthday. Disappointed with the fish's colour, he hopes to make the fish golden again but begins to lose sight of his dreams when his sister's health declines.
