This is the story of a poor father who needs money to send his child to another climate for her health. He steals the firm's money, but is knocked down by thugs, who make away with nothing but his empty bag. He gets credit for saving the money. This story treads on very familiar ground. Its interest is helped out by good action in the latter scenes and unusually good photography throughout. - The Moving Picture World, November 7, 1914
