For those who may not be aware, this work is occasionally cited as one of those many lost treasures of the silent era; and that's especially case since Maud Allan the famed modern dancer participated in the performance. Allan was one of the leading competitors of Isadora Duncan, and held an especially strong following in England during WW1, but today it's her fellow Canadians, modern dance researchers, true crime enthusiasts (her brother's arrest for two murders in San Francisco was said to be the tragedy she drew upon emotionally for her style), gays, lesbians, and feminists who are particularly interested in her story. If anyone has this film, please contact me, as I am researching. In return I would be able to provide some general knowledge about Ms. Allan's former residence here in San Francisco, the institutions she participated in, and the city's culture at that time.
