It appears that I'm the first person reviewing "The Einstein Theory of Relativity". Obviously it's not the most famous movie (I watched it on Wikipedia). Basically, it shows the key tenets of Albert Einstein's famous work, revealing that many of the phenomena that we take for granted are a matter of perspective. The only thing that remains constant is light speed.
Apparently some of the scenes are lifted from the German movie "Die Grundlagen der Einsteinschen Relativitäts-Theorie", which is now mostly lost. In the end, it's not anything profound, but works as a fun intro to physics. Director Dave Fleischer went on to create Betty Boop and Popeye.
On the subject of Einstein, it's probably worth mentioning that while he's best known for his contribution to the understanding of the universe, he remained politically active: he wrote a letter in support of the Scottsboro Nine, came out against nuclear proliferation, and befriended Paul Robeson.
