PamelaShort24 January 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Richard Sones (Elliott Dexter ) is a novelist who enjoys the company of his books and intellectual friends, while his wife, Margaret ( Betty Compson ) prefers the jazz set and a fast pace of life. Adept at sympathizing with neglected wives, Ernest Steel ( Adolphe Menjou ) finds Margaret very receptive to his flattering words. Realizing that he must take drastic action, Richard invites Mona ( Zasu Pitts ) a girl of the streets, to accompany him to one of Margaret's parties. Margaret becomes furious when she see's them and decides upon a divorce, Steele now panics about his bachelorhood and brings about a happy reconciliation between Richard and Margaret.

This 1924 comedy/drama directed by William C. De Mille with several popular stars of the 1920s, is sadly now listed as unknown. Hopefully a copy survives and resurfaces.
