This film stars Monte Collins, Jr., though he's billed as Monte Collins--his father's name and his father was an actor in the early days of cinema--so it's easy to mix them up. He is supported by Vernon Dent, a guy very frequently paired with various comedians during his career--such as Harry Langdon and the Three Stooges.
Monte's wife is tired of Vernon visiting. Her less than subtle hints included telling him to leave as well as chasing him out of the house with an axe! The scene then switches to a rehearsal for a show. Vernon's girlfriend has invited Monte and Vernon to come try out for the production and they plan on singing a song for them. Naturally, they aren't very good and Monte also manages to irritate his violent and ill-tempered wife...though I think I might have brained him as well! What will this lady do? See the film.
Is this a good film? Not especially...though it's not terrible. Not exactly a glowing endorsement.
