Another indie drama is coming, so you better get ready for some Fast Life! We’ve just learned that Mischa Barton is set to lead Rock Jacobs‘ directorial debut which will revolve around an ad exec who falls in with an unsavory fast money crowd. Sounds awkward, but now when Barton is on board – we’ll give them a try! So, at this moment, the only thing we know about Fast Life is that the story will center on an ad exec who falls in with an unsavory fast money crowd, only to be drawn to its antithesis when introduced to an unimpressed young woman. And...

Mischa Barton is to star in upcoming movie Fast Life.
The 27-year-old actress will play an 'unimpressed young woman' in the Rock Jacobs picture, according to Variety.
Filming for the movie is expected to start this summer in La.
Fast Life will be the directorial debut for Jacobs, who has made his name by directing music videos for the likes of Vanessa Hudgens and Miranda Cosgrove.
The plot of the upcoming movie centres on an advertising executive who becomes involved with an 'unsavoury crowd' before being introduced to 'unimpressed young woman' Barton.
The former star of The Oc, who is currently starring opposite Devon Sawa in the horror film A Resurrection, recently revealed that she does not miss the pressure of being "tabloid fodder".

After dropping his second solo single, "Just in Love," last month, Joe Jonas decided to hop back on the Fast Life track, but this time with some love from Lil Wayne.
A Weezy-approved remix was released on Monday morning (October 3).
"I'm just in love with you baby," Wayne shouts at the top of the track, which for the most part stays the same, except for a few shout-outs from Weezy.
Soon after Joe's single came out in September, the Jonas Brother followed up the dance track with a sexy video. The "Just in Love" clip features the singer frolicking around Paris with a beautiful French model.

There's a very good reason why so many big albums come out in the last quarter of the year: In the run-up to the holidays, lots of kids, moms, dads and grandparents truck down to the local megamart looking for good stocking stuffers.
And this year's bumper crop cuts across all genres and classifications, including fall albums from Coldplay, Kelly Clarkson, Evanescence, Feist, Wilco, Drake, Nickelback, Rihanna, J. Cole, Mastodon, Joe Jonas, Mary J. Blige, Rick Ross, Nas, Florence and the Machine, and "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery.
Here's a breakdown by genre of the ones to watch for (with release dates subject to change):

Joe Jonas threw his support to Demi Lovato, showing that he's still good friends with his former girlfriend. The "See No More" singer took to his Twitter account to congratulate the former "Sonny with a Chance" star for her newly released album "Unbroken".
"Congrats @ddlovato so happy for you dem! Everyone go get #Unbroken," the middle member of the Jonas Brothers wrote. Demi then replied, "@joejonas thank you Joe.. Means the world to me! Excited for Fast Life."
Joe and Demi were rumored to be feuding after their break-up back in May 2010. Later in June this year, the 22-year-old heartthrob was reportedly dedicating his song "I'm Sorry" to the "Skyscraper" songstress. Although he admitted that the single is based on his real story, he refused to credit his ex.
Recently, the musician who once dated Taylor Swift and Ashley Greene opened up to Andpop that he's been writing songs about his split with an ex-girlfriend.

Joe Jonas is feeling the love in the City Of Lights in his sultry video for “Just In Love,” the second single from his forthcoming album, “Fast Life,” out Oct. 11. He and his girlfriend, portrayed by French model Angele (whom, we’re sure, will be his real girlfriend soon enough... isn’t that how these things work?), bounce around the world’s most romantic city doing romantic things. [More after the jump...] They stick their thumb out like hitchhikers as they wait for the Metro. She straddles him in a restaurant and in bed, they take a bath together. It’s all very PG-13,...

Who says getting mad is a bad thing? Not Joe Jonas. As he sings in his new up-tempo, rhythmic new single, “Just In Love”: “Love is even more wild when you’re angry.” We hope that purity ring is off and tucked deep inside a drawer where it can’t witness what’s going on. The tune, which debuted on Ryan Seacrest’s website at midnight, is the second single from “Fast Life,” Jonas’s Oct. 11 solo album debut. It’s different from anything that he and his brothers released during their heyday. A synthesized keyboard line and heavy synth drum beat propels the beat-heavy track,...

The song hit the Internet on Friday (September 9) and offers another preview of Joe's first-ever solo project, Fast Life, which drops October 11.
"Just in Love" is a Latin-tinged dance track with a thumping beat behind a synthy sound. In the song, Joe professes his love for a girl who may not be clear about his intentions. "I think they didn't know what was going on, 'cause I didn't announce I was doing a video," he said of fan response to the upcoming clip. "I love Paris — it's one of my favorite cities — and so to shoot a video in Paris was a dream come true."

Britney Spears might be the Femme Fatale, but that doesn't mean she can't share the stage with a guy too. After announcing he'd be opening up for Spears at her tour stop in New Jersey, Joe Jonas announced Thursday (August 4) that he'd also be her opening act for stops in Europe.
People reports that the singer — who drops his first-ever solo album, Fast Life, in October — will be on hand for nine dates, including stops in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Ireland and the United Kingdom. HollywoodNews.com: In Paris, 21-year-old Joe Jonas cozied up to a beautiful blonde model on set for his new music video, ‘Just in Love With You’. The two shared some smooches while filming his single for his debut solo album.
The pair shot romantic scenes all around Paris. “The track is a midtempo tune about fighting to keep the one you love that Jonas has been singing at various live performances over the last couple of months,” according to MTV news.
When MTV chatted with the former Jonas Brother’s lead singer earlier this summer about his album, ‘Fast Life’, “he explained that the album would certainly show the many facets of love.” The album drops in September.
Are you looking forward to Joe as a solo artist? And who is the blonde?

Joe Jonas believes his solo album is more "mature" than the music he makes with his brothers
The Jonas Brothers star – who will release his debut solo LP 'Fast Life' on September 5 – says penning the material for the record alone has made it more personal as it explores him growing up.
He said: "It's a more mature sound and I wrote nearly every song on the album, so I'm singing about things I've gone through in the last year and really speaking from my heart. It's definitely a coming-of-age record."
Joe admitted he initially struggled to write songs without his brothers, but is happy with the way he eventually found his voice.
He added: "In the beginning, it was difficult because I hadn't written many songs without my brothers.

Just very standard pop music. "I'm going from Disney to a more mature record, and having that experience, I think a lot of people might think, 'Ok, this record might be a little bit bubble-gum pop'." Joe clears up rivalry rumors between him and Justin – but did he go as far as insulting his pop star counterpart?
We’re happy to hear Joe Jonas, 21, doesn’t feel threatened by superstar Justin Bieber, 17. But he may have gone a little too far — insulting Biebs!
Joe tells AOL his career is in a different ballpark than Bieber’s.
“[My] songs are a bit more mature,” Jonas said. “The things that I speak about … I really hope 11-year-olds aren’t relating to them, or their parents are going to have to talk.”
He also says his solo album Fast Life is more about the obstacles of young adults opposed to pre-teen drama.
“I’m 21, so [I sing about] things a 21-year-old would deal with. And if an 11-year-old or whatever wants to listen to my music, that’s great, I’m more than happy. I just feel the core audience is going to be a little older,...

Wow, Joe Jonas and his band did not get the reaction they had hoped for during a performance last week in Brooklyn, according to one report which claims he was nearly booed off the stage!

Hollywoodnews.com: Years ago, there were the Jonas Brothers. These days, it’s all about Joe.
Granted, the 21-year-old singer-songwriter is in the spotlight because he’s branching out on his own, releasing a solo album and touring heavily to help promote it. But it’s the incessant headlines the swirl around each promotional spot that have us paying more attention to Joe Jonas than usual.
The album, “Fast Life,” doesn’t drop until September. But Jonas is opening up about his inspirations for the new music: Everyone from his siblings to girlfriends past and present. “It was scary in the beginning just because I knew this is my one opportunity to show people my journal: the good and bad of every relationship I’ve been in, you know, [and] what I look for [in relationships],” Joe told MTV News before performing new songs at the Sounds Like Paper Concert in Brooklyn, New York.

Joe Jonas and Chris Brown rocked B96 Pepsi SummerBash in Chicago, Illinois over the weekend. It became Joe's first solo performance after he launched his debut single "See No More" earlier this month. As for Breezy, it's for the umpteenth time he performed solo at such summer concert.
The lead singer of the Jonas Brothers performed "Love Slayer", "Fast Life" and "Just In Love With You" in addition to showcasing the newly-released single which was coincidentally co-written by Breezy. While Joe didn't bring any guest on stage, Breezy shared stage with T-Pain at one point during his own performance.
The other musical guests at the Saturday, June 11 concert included Cody Simpson, Lupe Fiasco, Big Time Rush, New Boyz, Tinie Tempah, Tino Coury, Keri Hilson, Jay Sean, Eric Turner and Far East Movement.
