COMMENT: Beautifully photographed, reasonably actionful, "B" western. Tyler is in good form, assisted by a stand-out support cast led by heavies J.P. MacGowan and Edward Hearn.

The main fly in this western ointment is Renee Borden whose performance is as strained as her phony accent. Miss Rosanova is not much better, but fortunately her part is small. Miss Borden, however, is inflicted upon us for a great part of the action. Her ham acting would be more tolerable if only she were a bit more attractive. But Borden is a dead loss in all departments.

The actual plot is slight, but director Webb manages to keep it moving - despite the obstacles presented by the omnipresent "heroine".
