Sex & Nudity

  • One kiss at the end. A woman changes clothes twice before the camera, but she is wearing an unrevealing undergarment. This same woman is seen wearing a one-piece bathing suit.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is stabbed (we do not see the stabbing)-minor blood is later shown. Two men struggle (almost comically) with a zombie. Two shootings-one resulting in death, the other in a wounded hands. A man falls through a trap pit and screams.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some minor drinking and smoking throughout.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This is a 1940 horror movie, so the following is neither intense nor unnerving. A zombie mother and her son are show in a few scenes-they are not disturbing-with mask-like faces. A ghost is seen at one point. A supposedly dead person is seen moving (we later find out that it is a real person). The whole mood during the storm at the beginning and the mansion at the end is slightly tense.
