Pancho's nephew is the witness to a murder and identifies the killer, who is arrested. When the circuit judge arrives for the trial, he is actually one of the killer's friends, who is impersonating the real judge in an effort to free his buddy.
A blacksmith attempts to invent an iron plow to till the hard earth. Ranchers believe farmers are stealing cattle to survive. After Cisco is injured he sends Pancho to investigate.
An egotistical acting ham confesses to bank robbery and murder, thus requiring Cisco and Pancho to save him from a lynch mob. Later, however, Cisco discovers that the grave of the supposed murder victim is empty.
Cisco and Pancho face a crooked deputy sheriff who's desperate to find the location of buried treasure from the Civil War, and has already killed once.
Pancho poses as the uncle of a young woman whose banker father apparently committed suicide after losing most of the bank's money. Cisco smells a rat and decides to investigate.
