Richards sings "Soliloquy" and joins Carter in a satire of TV merchandising as Roy Richards and Skip-a-long Carter. Swarthout sings "Habanera" from "Carmen." In the finale,a take-off on opera, Carter plays Escamillo, Vague as Carmen and regular Donald Richards as Don Jose.

With the World Series ending earlier in the day, Carter plays a baseball fan who insists on realism when watching the games on TV: his wife is a hot dog vendor, his son sell programs, etc. Claire sings "Home Cooking" with Carter. The finale is "Life Begins in Hades" with Carter as the devil. Niven plays a hobo who has sold his soul. Richards sings "You Are Flame." Callahan does a ribbon dance.
