Ezra Furman sings about sex and love on three newly released songs that accompany the newly released fourth and final season of Sex Education. The singer-songwriter dropped “You Like Me,” “Tether,” and “Honeycomb” on Thursday as an EP titled Sex Education — Songs From Season 4.
The songs all play off themes in the show, which is about high schoolers becoming sex therapists for their fellow students. On the gentle, softly rocking “You Like Me,” she sings, “You like me and it freaks me out/Sometimes I don’t know what you’re talking about.

There’s something ethereal about Weston Razooli’s Toronto Midnight Madness closer, Riddle of Fire. It’s whimsical, but in a rough-hewn sort of way that puts it somewhere in the aesthetic neighborhood of Avalon Fast’s 2022 Slamdance discovery, Honeycomb. Both films exist in a world parallel to ours, but not unfamiliar or unrecognizable. While Honeycomb chooses a darker direction when compared to Riddle of Fire’s Little Rascals-esque childish escapades, they both occupy a world in which adults exist, but more as impediments to adventure instead of figures of authority. Razooli’s film exudes joy from every delicate 16mm frame, making it the perfect gateway for those weirdo young children looking for representation in a world of high gloss influencers and YouTube celebs. Right from the jump, Riddle of...

Maren Morris is back with the EP The Bridge, which features two new songs called “The Tree” and “Get the Hell Out of Here.” The tracks were produced by Greg Kurstin and Jack Antonoff, respectively. Listen to both below.
Morris is known for being one of the few modern day country artists willing to potentially alienate their audience in order to speak out for what they believe in; in recent years, she’s beefed with Jason Aldean and Tucker Carlson for (checks notes) not being bigoted. The Bridge taps into those feelings of isolation, but ultimately finds the singer-songwriter comfortable in her place as a Nashville outsider.
“The Bridge; a connecting, transitional, or intermediate route or phase between two adjacent conditions,” Marris said in a statement. “These two songs are incredibly key to my next step because they express a very righteously angry and liberating phase of my life these...

It’s not every day we see a female character in a period drama who is in a love triangle and diverts from her given trope into becoming the all-consuming asset of the story. What I’m trying to say is that Camila Dunne is an ideal wife and mother who is devoted to her husband, who may be in love with another woman, but none of this defines her. It is so easy to peg women against each other in such a situation and have it lead to savagery and ‘cat fights,’ ah, the favorite of all dramas, but instead, Camila and Daisy never actually hate each other. In fact, there’s an underlying admiration between the characters, which is so rare to see. Unlike her short appearance in the book, in “Daisy Jones & The Six” series, Camila plays a huge role in bringing the band together and...

Now that the last two episodes of “Daisy Jones & The Six” are out the only thing we’re happy about is being able to binge-watch the show a dozen times over. In episode 8 we left off with Daisy having overdosed and Billy saving her life while Nicky runs away with his tail between his legs. So what exactly will lead up to that one dreadful day that was Daisy Jones & The Six’s last performance?
Spoilers Ahead
What Happens In Episode 9?
In an unexpected turn of events, Daisy throws Nicky out for leaving her to die after finding out everything that happened from Billy the next day. Nicky even tries to manhandle her, but the band all support her, which is beautiful to see. They’ve come such a long way from being distant toward her to loving her. The doctors had managed to get the drugs out...

There's no denying Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne were a match made in songwriting heaven. But past that, the central characters of "Daisy Jones & The Six" were always destined to clash to the point of ruin—and the proof is in the foreshadowing embedded in every line of the very first song Daisy and Billy (the enigmatic Riley Keough and Sam Claflin) collaborated on, "Honeycomb." The song is at once a look at a romance crumbling at the seams and an epitaph for a connection that, at the time of its writing and recording, had barely just begun.
"Honeycomb" was the first song the group worked on as a newly formed band called Daisy Jones & The Six, bringing together Daisy Jones the solo artist and The Six, a band of five formerly known as The Dunne Brothers. Billy brought his version of the song, one that he wrote long before...

This article contains spoilers for Daisy Jones & The Six.
Daisy Jones & The Six has finally careened towards the gig that ended it all. At the start of the 10-episode season, viewers were told the band broke up with no official reason why on Oct. 4, 1977 – now we finally know (well… unless you’ve read the book in which case you already knew.)
So what exactly happened to this group that was inches away from international domination? Here’s everything you need to know as the series reaches its heartbreaking conclusion.
What Happened at Soldier Field?
This episode, more than the others, chucks us around timelines significantly. There’s Soldier Field in Chicago, the gig that ended it all, the linear timeline that has tracked the band from the start of the ‘70s, and then there’s the Behind The Music style documentary, set around 1997.
Episode 10, “Rock n Roll Suicide” starts at Soldier Field,...

With only two episodes of “Daisy Jones & The Six” remaining, we’re looking forward to that concert. Is it just us, or are you sinking deeper into “the river” too? In the previous episode, we saw Daisy finally return from Greece with her new trophy husband, Nicky. Simone is finally successful, but Daisy may have to do something huge to win her love back after deeply hurting her.

What Happens In Episode 8?
With Daisy’s return, things are quite rocky for Billy. He’s incapable of accepting her behavior, and rightfully so because he’s been trying to keep the band together while she was frolicking around in Greece. The band members are just happy about Daisy’s return. It looks like Daisy and Billy are back to square one, or even worse, now that they’re ripping into each other every chance they get. For Marcus Mumford, getting involved with the original music for “Daisy Jones & the Six” was a matter of being in the right place at the right time.
The Mumford & Sons frontman was working at L.A.’s Sound City Studios on his solo record with multi-instrumentalist and producer Blake Mills — who co-wrote and executive produced all 25 songs heard in the Prime Video series, which chronicles the rise and fall of a ’70s rock band — when Mills asked if he wanted to help write a tune for the show.
“It was a slower day for my record and Blake was like, ‘Look, do you wanna try this thing for Daisy?'” Mumford tells Variety. “And I often think that… writing begets more writing. If you’re able to flex a similar muscle in a different way, then it can often help the writing you have in front of you as well.

Daisy Jones & The Six continues gaining popularity as the limited series releases new episodes on Prime Video throughout March. One of the essential elements of the series is the music performed by the Dunne Brothers, The Six, and finally, Daisy Jones & The Six. However, in Taylor Jenkins Reid’s interpretation of the music created by this fictional 1970s band, many of the tunes are vastly different. Here’s how the lyrics of “Honeycomb” differ from the bestselling book.

Daisy Jones & The Six has become one of the most anticipated series of the year, and as it finally drops on Prime Video, the team have been kind enough to drop the entire Aurora album at the same time.
Produced by Blake Mills – who’s previously collaborated with Lana Del Ray, Dixie Chicks and John Legend – songwriters including Phoebe Bridgers, Marcus Mumford, Jackson Browne and Marcus Cunningham were brought on board to tune up the lyrics from Taylor Jenkins Reid’s book, and bring them to life in 70s technicolour.
And yes, the actors really are singing and performing of the album (you can thank the pandemic for allowing them time to tune up and become the Daisy Jones & The Six that now appears on your screen).

It’s fitting that Prime Video’s new series Daisy Jones & the Six charts the rise and fall of a popular ’70s rock band, because the show actually feels like a double album from that era: overly long and often self-indulgent, but with scattered bits of greatness that make the whole thing worthwhile. Daisy Jones — premiering this Friday; I’ve seen the first five episodes — takes a while to get started and falls victim to quite a few rock biopic clichés along the way, but the vibrant music scenes and an array of strong performances and memorable original songs...

Riley Keough is following in her famous grandfather, Elvis Presley’s, footsteps — but on her own terms. The 33-year-old actress and her “Daisy Jones & The Six” co-star, Sam Claflin, sat down with Et’s Nischelle Turner to discuss their highly-anticipated Prime Video series.
The series is an adaptation of the bestselling book by Taylor Jenkins Reid and stars Riley and Sam as Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne, the talented, charismatic, and volatile lead singers of a rock band in 1970s California who rocket to fame and then suddenly, and inexplicably, call it quits.
Although Riley is the granddaughter of rock legends, Elvis and Priscilla Presley, and the daughter of musicians Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough, she told Et that she had to work hard on tapping into her own musical ability.

The official trailer of the upcoming musical-drama series titled ‘Daisy Jones & The Six’ was unveiled recently. It serves a delectable treat of the 1970s aesthetics in terms of costumes, colour palette, styling, themes and of course the music which is the fulcrum of the series.
Although the story is presented in a documentary style, including background interviews with the band, ‘Daisy Jones & The Six’ is a fictional story that captures the essence of creativity in the erratic, wild world of the 1970s and the band’s journey from its rise to the fall.
The series, which is based on the eponymous novel, features Riley Keough as Daisy Jones, Sam Claflin as Billy Dunne, Camila Morrone as Camila Dunne, Will Harrison as Graham Dunne, Suki Waterhouse as Karen Sirko, Josh Whitehouse as Eddie Roundtree, Sebastian Chacon as Warren Rojas, Nabiyah Be as Simone Jackson, and Tom Wright as Teddy Price,...

Daisy Jones & the Six, the band author Taylor Jenkins Reid conjured up in her novel of the same name – now being adapted into a series at Prime Video – initially began as two separate entities: Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) on her own and the seventies rock band the Six, led by Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin). On the band’s latest single, “Look At Us Now (Honeycomb),” the two separate pieces strike gold as they merge into one.
