Certainly one of the best Korean films of anti-imperialism

Warning: Spoilers
Film that is unusual argument for myself, (cinematically speaking). From the 60 to the 80 South Korea has churned out tons of anti-communist films but were also produced many films on anti-imperialism Jogbo it is the last category, but be careful though .... this film differs greatly from all outputs productions of the time, because it tends to explore the issues not only interesting but also very deep The film has as its central theme the changssi-gaemyong an untranslatable word, a word that was put into practice compulsory during Japanese occupation in Korea, a word that has accounted for the Korean people a real form of dictatorship aimed total annulment of Korean language and culture in favor of the Japanese There were those who voluntarily adhered to the terrible and merciless policy imposed by Japan, and who did it or had to resignation or to draw social benefits (working above). > But there were those who strongly as Jin-Young (played by top Korean actors of that period) did not even minimally adhere to changssi-gaemyong, a Korean thoroughbred proud and determined, of ancient lineage. I was very impressed this character and I think he pretty much the main character, who until the end has been faithful to his cause. I highly recommend watching this Korean film, I think that is very informative as well as very well made. Instructive because it makes known to the audience (especially the West) a crucial historical moment for the Koreans, while well made because the film is well-kept and well-interpreted Indeed Jokbo is one of the best films made in South Korea of the 70s, such as giving wrong with this statement?
