Sex & Nudity

  • The nude scene isn't that graphic with the man being covered by bed sheets and the woman's buttocks and breasts including nipples being shown.
  • Ted and Phyllis lie naked in bed, presumably after having sex; she leaves the room fully nude and talks to Billy as she struggles to cover herself (she is shown nude from behind, side, and front in the hall. Her bare buttocks are seen also breasts and nipples).

Violence & Gore

  • Violence is infrequent and usually occurs in the form of tense arguments.
  • A man grabs his young son and carries him, kicking and screaming, to his bed; they argue and the boy continues to cry and scream, "I want my Mommy!"
  • A young boy falls off a jungle gym and cuts his face on the ground (we see a lot of blood on his face); his father rushes him to the hospital (blood is visible on their clothing and rubs off on the father's face) and we see the boy expressing pain and discomfort as a doctor stitches the wound; a bloody bandage is shown on his face afterwards and a scar is visible later in the film.
  • A man and a woman argue and the man throws a glass against a wall next to the woman, shattering it. This scene is intense because it is unexpected and happens quickly.

Profanity

  • 3x Sh*t, 2x Damn 4 x G*ddamn
