- Sex scenes: A three-way scene with two women and a man is visible for a while, with full frontal and rear female nudity and rear male nudity. A television shows a very brief view of breasts and butts of two women atop one another. Another scene shows fleeting glimpses of pubic hair only.

- One person chases another intending to stab.
- A guy desecrates a photo: We see him spit on it a couple of times. He urinates, we only see the wet spot afterward. Defecating on it is suggested.
- A person is stabbed in the throat. Blood streams out for a moment.
- Two people are murdered by gunfire. One victim has a blood splotch on clothing. Another shows multiple splotches with some splatter. No other gore. A gun is used to threaten some people.
- We see a character slapped to the ground twice, roughly manhandled, threatened, and otherwise physically and mentally abused.

- Unspecified pills are used to attempt suicide.
- Very frequent cigarette smoking. On just a couple of occasions, wine and whiskey are consumed socially and at a bar, including by Desideria. No obvious inebriation.

Sex & Nudity
- Desideria reminds her adoptive mother that the mother had "comforted" her some time ago by caressing her between the legs. In a dream, Desideria removes her sleeping mother's panties. In reality, later, the two of them lie down in bed together. It is made clear afterward that sex occurred.
- In a scene that starts with intimidation but seems to turn consensual, a man pushes Desideria onto a bed, touches her breasts through her shirt, and has sex with her. No nudity other than fleeting glimpses of pubic hair (body double). Afterward he shows blood on his hand and tells her she should have told him she was a virgin.
- Desideria and a man talk in bed, fully clothed. It's not obvious that they are yet sexually active. The man has sex with her adoptive mother. He and Desideria discuss having a three-way with the mother as part of a scheme.
