The love story is sort of touching, and Beverly Garland and Louis Jourdan contribute their professionalism. There is well-done tension reflecting the desire of women to have their man turn out OK when appearances might call this into question, such a part of the psyche of women, no doubt. The actor and actress who play the two lead characters, Sonny and Liz, are not on the credits of the IMBD database as I write this. Just as well -- Let me euphemistically say, their performances leave something to be desired.
