SWITCH-OVER is an oddball little Hong Kong comedy about the rivalry between a couple of kung fu fighters. The main actress is a dungarees-wearing tomboy who has no problem tackling street thugs and the like while her counterpart is an established and wily old master, played by the great Wu Ma. Supporting roles go to the likes of Charlie Cho and other established bit players. Despite the presence of kung fu this isn't really an action film, more of a comedy drama with more than a little Wong Jing feel to it. It's very low budget which saps the entertainment somewhat, but you could do worse.
