A police professor is murdered at the police academy where Semir's daughter Dana is studying. The perpetrators turn out to be members of an Arabian clan who have ties with the headmaster, who they later target alongside his son - and Dana.
When Semir is once again framed for the murder of a fellow police detective, Paul becomes aware and tries to avert his case. Karmann, arms dealer-in-chief and a long nemesis of Semir, makes these efforts difficult to meet his own ends.
A sudden bomb attack-turned-abduction on Semir triggers a wild goose chase for Paul. It later becomes apparent that an old enemy, Karmann, is the reason, and the attacks thereafter have Semir's remaining family in their sights.
After a car crash leaves Semir in a coma, the senior detective must dive into the depths of his own mind to find where an abducted child is being held, all in the hopes that both he and the victim will ultimately survive.
