Cesar Chavez was one of the great Americans of the Twentieth Century (unless you were a grape grower, of course) and this documentary does great justice to his memory. A terrific assemblage of footage, moving testimony from farmworkers and allies, and the message that much work remains to be done make this the best documentary on American labour since Harlan County USA.
