What we would call "ärlig"(honest).
rebel_721 December 2000
This is a good film, that´s why the few people that have voted has an average of 7,7. Of course, the first time I saw it I couldn't help but noticing that there were a few cliche's, but it´s just honesty. Cliche's are often very close to the truth and perhaps you have to have been there (in swedish highschool) to be able to tell the difference...

The worst lyrics in a swedish movie - ever
rog-156 December 1998
This is the kind of movie which is loved by 50-year old schoolteachers and people who consider themselves aware in social issues - but really haven´t got a clue. The actors - I think all of them are amateurs - do their best, but the script is so full of cliches and stupidities that they can´t save it.

Worst of all though is the scool cabaret that the kids are working on - brings back all your worst memories from acting classes in school. The lyric to one of the songs goes something like this in a fast-translation 2.30 in the morning: "I´m the dwarf of society, an emotionally crippled individual."

Please!

A fantastic film according to my opinion

Vildängel is one of my favorite movies. I think that the music in the movie is very good. It is a very emotional movie about teens that from different reasons has trouble with the regular school. The movie focus on issues of love, friendship and life.

The actors is great for being amateurs and I think that they make the film more realistic. The story and the characters may by a little bit unrealistic but I think that many can relate to some parts of them.

Being a low budget film made by amateurs and with a story told in an unusual way the movie has a special kind of charm that is speaking to me.

Vildängel is an excellent movie that you probably hate or love. It is a movie to cry and laugh to.

Put a big smile on my face.

Was reading an article/comment to this movie that said that the actors were amateurs. Well, of course they were.. they were local talents with no proper education in that field. The one closest to have it was Patrik Johansson(Rejio) but still, i think they pulled it off real good.

As far as the songs/lyrics go i think they talk to you on a deeper level as they sing about that the world is way to harsh for some people in our society. And that everyone maybe not always stand up for what they believe in.

At least is that the feeling that i got when i heard them the first time, and still do.

Vildängel (Wild Angel) is about a troubled teen from just outside Stockholm that is being relocated to a new "home" and a new school.

Warning: Spoilers
Vildängel (Wild Angel) is about a troubled teen from just outside Stockholm that is being relocated to a new "home" and a new school. He ends up in a class for the "freaks", a theater class with other teens also having problems at home, and school.

His first day was almost the cause for him returning back to his original home, but was convinced that he should give it some time. As time pass, he gets to know the other teens, the teachers, and the neighborhood. Everyone else gets to know him and his troubles too...

He also got popular with a girl interested with him, liked and helped with his reading abilities by the schools caretaker, and forced into a position to take the lead role in the play they all have been working on as the main character relentlessly disappeared.

This is a movie about being the "outsiders" of school, home, and society. A movie about life, love, passion, commitment, dedication, and the well being others can bring to ones life, if you'd let them in.

I highly recommend this movie to those that feel left out, or that they do not fit into society, or life.
