A crummy Angela Baron vehicle reveals the emptiness of Vivid Entertainment: glossy and mindless.
It's sort of a soap opera about fabulously successful fashion designer Angela Baron, as her old nemesis Randy West pursues her. Of course Angela is victorious, a free spirit who gets her way, especially sexually. The whole movie is reduced to drivel by the endless narration spoonfeeding the minimal story to the viewer. It's delivered by Angela's assistant, brunette Chris Collins, an actress who never made any impression on me, and remains anonymous even in IMDb after dozens of credits -remarkable given the moronic hacks who have submitted thousands of "bios" for porn starlets, all of which read identically -"buxom and shapely bombshell...".
While the sex scenes are pro forma, with Alex Sanders required to wear a rubber when he services Angela, the glamorous depiction of the fashion industry is missing, as Vivid substitutes porn budget and porn sensibility instead. It's embarrassing, but I suppose Vivid fans (I wasn't one of them back in the day) knew what to expect.
