Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Contains potentially disturbing scenes of a midget cannibal consuming people with one snap of his huge (and extremely flexible jaws); each "meal" is accompanied by a jolt of the image and loud sound effect. By cartoon's end, the American character, Harry, becomes a cannibal himself; he chases after and swallows the cannibal in one gulp.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The driver who silently accompanies Harry in the jungle has a cigarette in the corner of his mouth.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • "Chew Chew" (as the cannibal is called) eats several people, most of whom meet their demise off-camera (a dentist behind a closed door, an automat worker who's whisked through one of the food slots, a passing driver who's yanked out of his car). Harry is oblivious to Chew Chew's dining habits until Chew Chew consumes Harry's friend, Fred, right in front of him. As Chew Chew chases after Harry, he becomes increasingly wild-eyed. In the finale, Chew Chew is an involuntary blood donor for Harry, who's been hit by a truck; Harry's expression changes, signaling us that now, he too is a cannibal; he chases after Chew Chew and is implied to consume him in one gulp.
