Rob tells Brigid that he was ill on the night of the raid, and no one knows he was in the pool room when Ben was bullied. Cher is in trouble with the synchronized swimming team.
Bridgid is on a health kick and is exercising too much. Harry and Cher fight in the swimming pool. Ed goes competition mad. Rob and Terry become friends again over a pool match.
Harry is arrested for attacking Cher. A new girl, Leanne, goes to the Grove with Brigid; she is roped into the Spacer drink competition and ends up kissing Alfie.
The Grove team take part and win the finals of the Spacer competition which are filmed for adverts for the Spacer drink. Alfie lies that he went all the way with Leanne; later Brigid accuses him of forcing Leanne.
Ollie urges Ben to sue the Grove. Harry and Nat go on a spending spree and win on a bet. They go bowling with the winnings. Cher and Sita perform their act despite Cher's grand-dad's racism.
Flora refuses to move to Manchester. Alfie and Leanne fall out over the move. Alfie continues to work on his play about Kevin Keegan. Terry steals some bike parts and Rob has to face the angry bikers.
Rob has been beaten up. Brigid is terrified that Rob has found out about her and Terry. Flora tells Anna she is going to sell her stuff to raise money to rent a flat. Her headaches become worse.
Karen gets herself a job at a hair salon. Ollie hunts for his mysterious Internet contact. Flora has been having radiotherapy, but after she suffers a fit, Terry tells her that her tumour is getting bigger.
Karen is sacked from the salon. Later that night she breaks in and sets the salon ablaze. Ollie is an outcast at the Grove but gets an e.mail from Trooper John who turns out to be Emma, a girl with a crush on Ollie. Emma is blamed for a computer virus and banned from the Grove.
Karen's mum tries to raise money for a homeless shelter threatened with closure and the kids join a protest for the homeless. Flora dies and Terry reads a poem at the funeral.
