"Arthur's Eyes": After Arthur has an eye exam, he learns that he needs to wear glasses. But when he wears them at school for the first time, Francine calls him a "Four Eyes," and the other kids laugh at him. So he tries to avoid wearing his glasses/"Francine's Bad Hair Day": Francine doesn't care that it's school picture day, but Muffy thinks that she can change Francine's mind and her looks. So Muffy advises Francine to wear a dress and to get her hair styled. But when Arthur and Buster see Francine's new look, they make fun of her.

"Arthur and the Real Mr. Ratburn": Arthur and his classmates are afraid of their new teacher Mr. Ratburn. 4th grader Prunella tells the recent 3rd graders that Mr. Ratburn eats nails for breakfast, he is a vampire with hypnotic powers, and that if you get an answer wrong, he will send you to "Death Row." But is this what Mr. Ratburn is really like?/"Arthur's Spelling Trubble": Arthur is one of the students who will be in the all-school spellathon. He doesn't think that he is good speller, but Mr. Ratburn thinks otherwise. Arthur studies extra-hard, but he feels like he isn't making any progress.

D.W. All Wet: D.W. enjoys her field trip at the aquarium...until she sees an octopus. It gets so hot in Elwood City that Mr. Read suggests that the family should go to Bear Lake. But D.W. refuses to go because she thinks that there are octopuses in the lake./Buster's Dino Dilemma: When Mr. Ratburn's class goes on a field trip to Rainbow Rock State Park, Buster finds a dinosaur fossil and wants to keep it for himself.

D.W.'s Imaginary Friend: Arthur doesn't like D.W.'s imaginary friend Nadine. When Arthur and Buster want to go on this new ride at Wonder World, D.W. begs to go on the ride also. But Arthur thinks that D.W. will embarrass him talking about Nadine in front of his friends./Arthur's Lost Library Book: Arthur borrows a lot of books from the library, including the newest 'Scare-Your-Pants-Off' book, 'The Mysterious Hand'. Arthur forgets that he had 'The Mysterious Hand' and tries to find it before he has to return it.

Arthur's Pet Business: Arthur wants a dog. His parents will let him have a dog on one condition, that he can prove that he is responsible enough to take care of one. So Arthur decides to run a pet-sitting business. Arthur is careful to follow all the instructions on how to take care of Perky, Mrs. Wood's dog, but no matter what he does, Perky always growls./D.W. the Copycat: When Arthur tells D.W. that everything she likes is boring, she decides to copy Arthur by doing everything he does and by dressing like him.

'Locked in the Library': Francine is mad at Arthur because she heard that he called her a marshmallow. But then they are assigned to work together on a report about heroes. When the two of them do research in the Elwood City Library, they doze off. When they wake up, they realize that the library is closed and won't open until Monday. Will Arthur and Francine ever make up?/ Arthur Accused: Arthur has collected quarters for a new dog for the Elwood City Fire Department, but Mrs. MacGrady says that she never got them. Mr. Haney thinks that Arthur stole the quarters. Can Buster Baxter, Private Eye, prove that Arthur is innocent?

Arthur sends postcards to his family telling them how it's boys vs. girls./Buster Makes the Grade: Buster is getting poor grades in school. Mr. Ratburn tells him that if he doesn't get a B on the next test, 'he won't have the pleasure of joining his friends in the fourth grade.' So Buster's friends try tutoring him.

'Arthur's Birthday': Arthur has invited all his friends to attend his birthday party. But the problem is that Muffy's birthday party is the same day. Then the boys decide to go Arthur's party and the girls to Muffy's party. But Arthur and Francine think that it would be more fun if everybody was together, so they come up with a plan./'Francine Frensky, Superstar': Whenever Francine is in a school play, she is given the worst role. Her classmates ask Mr. Ratburn to give her a good part, and so he casts Francine as Thomas Edison. But Francine lets the role go to her head.

'Arthur's Baby': Arthur is worried about what it would be like to have a new baby in the house. After Kate is born, she cries whenever Arthur holds her, but doesn't cry when D.W. holds her. When Kate cries nonstop, D.W. and Arthur try to solve the problem./'D.W.'s Baby': D.W. is very happy to have a new baby sister, but she doesn't like her as much when Kate's crying keeps her up at night, or how she stinks up the room with her dirty diapers, and she doesn't like how Kate is getting more attention than her. D.W. comes up with several plans to make Mom and Dad like her more than Kate. But finds out that maybe a big sister is what a little sister really needs. That and a clean diaper. P.U.!...

'Arthur Writes a Story': Mr. Ratburn gives his class an assignment: to write a story either fiction or non-fiction. Arthur decides to write the story of how he got his dog Pal. When he tells his story to D.W., she says that it is boring, and she suggests to make Pal an elephant. Then whenever Arthur tells his changed story to a friend, they keep telling him how it can be improved, and eventually becomes a really bizarre story/'Arthur's Lost Dog': The Read family are out celebrating Downtown Day in Elwood City, and suddenly Kate cries, but Mom, Dad, Arthur and D.W. don't know why. Pal knows that Kate is crying because she wants a balloon, so Pal runs away to get one. Arthur thinks that Pal ran away because he doesn't like Arthur.

'So Long, Spanky': D.W. has a pet bird named Spanky that she likes because he annoys Arthur, and she can dress him up. But then Spanky becomes sick and dies, and she doesn't want to replace him with any other pet. However, when a toad comes into the Reads' yard and follows D.W. around, she gets frustrated because it won't go away./'Buster's New Friend': Instead of hanging out with Arthur, Buster hangs out with his new friend Mike. Buster boasts about how good Mike is at miniature golf and bowling. Arthur and Buster are supposed to do a science project together, but Arthur is always stuck doing it himself, so Arthur is mad that Buster spends so much time with Mike.

'Arthur the Wrecker': Arthur is obsessed with a computer game called "Deep Dark Sea." Without his mom's permission, Arthur plays some of the game so that Buster can see what it's like. When Arthur and Buster fight over the mouse, the computer turns off and they can't seem to be able to turn it back on. Can they fix it before Mrs. Read returns?/'Arthur and the True Francine': Francine reminds Muffy about the time Muffy first attended Lakewood Elementary. When they first met each other Francine and Muffy became fast friends, but Muffy tries to impress Francine more by telling her lies such as at her old school she taught math. Then Muffy copies Francine's answers to the math test, and Francine gets blamed.

'Arthur's Family Vacation': Arthur wants to go to Camp Meadowcroak again this summer, but when D.W. tells him that they're going on a vacation, Arthur is disappointed. The Read Family Vacation is a disaster from the beginning. Plagued by traffic stinky diapers and unplanned pit stops. Their plans on going to the ocean are wrecked by a big rainstorm, so Arthur comes up with alternate activities./'Grandpa Dave's Old Country Farm': Arthur and D.W. spend some time at Grandpa Dave's farm. They are excited about going to the fair, but when they notice that the farm is in so poor of condition that the chickens are in the bedroom, Arthur and D.W. become concerned about Grandpa Dave. Can Dave's friend Ed help change his attitude?
