Failed rom-com
lor_11 January 2024
The rom-com as a genre waxes and wanes in popularity, but lately has been AWOL in both mainstream and porn films. This XXX rom-com from over 30 years ago is quite poor, bearing most of the weaknesses of the format.

It's opening is lousy, with Tom Chapman being thrown out of the house by his fiancee, while caterers Trinity Lauren and Peter North are busily baking for the upcoming wedding. We get some exposition about the story and characters but it is utterly pointless.

The future bride is played by pretty Missy Warner, whose billing as "Missy" confused me, as the superstar Missy's career was several years in the future. Then Johnny Warner, billed as just "Johnny" pops up as a new boyfriend for Missy, suggested by caterer Trinity. The awfully contrived script has both Missy and the future groom, played by Tom Chapman, catching each other making love to someone else (Tom humps Taylor Wane while Missy humps Johnny) to try and keep the rom-com rolling along.

Another stupid coincidence has Wane wandering around and running into Chapman's groundskeeper Nikki Wilde, who promptly seduces her. Another twist out of nowhere has redhead with huge boobs Rusty Rhodes popping up and f*cking Chapman, while caterer Trinity ends up baring her even bigger jugs to have sex with Missy. The main story about the off and on wedding is discarded.

A very silly movie produced by Peter North, whose cameo role as a caterer consists of him whipping out his dick to help Trinity prepare a pop tart.
