Watching porn soap operas lately I was impressed with the work of writer-producer Jerry Ross, until I watched this clunker. It's bland and contrived, with a misogynistic ending that leaves a bad taste in the viewer's mouth.
Kelly Royce and Rayne are introduced as BFFs, but the Ross script fails to stick with Rayne's character, sending her away to an Ivy League school (but with zero footage establishing the university campus life at all) where we merely see her having sex with way overage grad student Randy West (the famous porn star was 43 years old when this video was shot) and later her visiting boyfriend from back home Randy Spears.
Instead, the movie's story focuses solely on Kelly Royce as a painter who needs a new roommate. Eric Price shows up even though she expects another girl to move in, and a brief but vital set-up scene has him on the phone with someone revealing he has ulterior motives regarding Kelly. That mystery is resolved in the crummy ending.
The print I watched gave Rachel Ryan top billing, but she has a nothing role as a sexy model, not even named. Both Royce and Rayne are bland performers, and the movie is listlessly paced. Worst scene is a poorly edited sequence that has zero credibility, involving Price watching a homemade porn tape he made with his assistant Carol (Tonisha Mills) humping Joey Silvera (uncredited and uncharacteristically appearing as a stud with a beard), in which Kelly is supposedly also watching and imagines herself f*cking Silvera.
