Gary Graver aka Robert McCallum put little thought or effort into this stupid story of women vacationing in some banana republic taken prisoner by revolutionaries. That topic is still topical over three decades later, but treated frivolously here.
Nina Hartley does her usual fine acting job standing up to Tony Montana and his co-ed group of kidnappers, and predictably the women in peril all become enamored of their captors, both male and female. Stupid ending, after an obligatory orgy scene, is p*ss-poor.
Graver was an A-list in porn, though his real career was as an indie mainstream filmmaker, shooting most of Orson Welles' latter-day projects. This cast has so many greats in it besides Hartley, including Krista Lane, Keisha and Rachel Ryan, that it is painfully obvious how the director managed to reduce them to mere standard-issue sex performers. Feature was randomly revived in 2009 for a DVD from Classic X Collection.
