I tried to visualize what a story meeting for this would be like.

"Let's think of everything you CANNOT put in a movie these days...and DO IT!" (applause and agreement) However extreme your humor tastes might be...this will STILL make you squirm. This makes TEAM America look like Davey and Goliath.

If you have a total, annoying, political correctness extremist acquaintance, you can exact a satisfying revenge by screening this for him or her that might put an end to your relationship. And, be sure to read through the final credits. Perhaps the most creative laugh is contained therein (look for "famous movie lines").

Any film that casts Ron Jeremy as a religious town mayor must be worth a look. I hope Troma stays well. There's room for their brand of humor. Without extremes, we'd never know where the "middle" is.

I like it for what it is. It's a LSD trip.

It's offensive to be offensive like you have everything that's not okay to film it's in there it's pretty freaking crazy. Like they must have just survey the most sadistic people they know for ideas and said yes to all of em.

I mean i loved it for what it is, it's just that like if you think there's a deeper meaning to any of this you are mistaken. It's just we are gonna put the most offensive stuff we can think of and just build around it a story. I respect them for that takes balls. It's sometimes so offensive you have to justs stop drop your jaw and go like "wow that's not ok lol". But i'm not offended cause i get it like i know the intention behind this is not rooted in hate or racism or whatever.

I can't rate this a 10/10 it's not Shawshank Redemption here. It's Toxie 4 lol

But if you like feel to watch an insane crazy trip of a movie that dosen't give a single F. It's a pretty crazy experience. Only if you are willing to go through the rabbit hole tho.

I had a difficult time reviewing this movie.

On the one hand, it was another opportunity to see Debbie Rochon.

On the other hand, I would have liked to see her in something else.

On one hand, I have to cheer for a movie that includes a role that I can actually play. Lardass rules!

On the other hand, I really got grossed out when the diaper gang guy pooped in his pants. Yech! On one hand, I can certainly cheer a superhero that takes breaks to have sex with his wife (Heidi Sjursen).

On the other hand, I am deeply offended at the multiple uses of the "R" word for the developmentally disabled. I consider that as offensive as the "N" word.

One one hand, I like Dolphin Man, The Vibrator, Masterbater, Sgt. Kabukiman and Mad Cowboy. That's some interesting superheros.

On the other hand, the are some really outrageous scenes in this movie that will certainly be offensive to many.

On the one hand, Tromas TV was hilarious.

On the other hand, this movie, while outrageous, was no worse than watching Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, so I'll give it the same rating.

This is the best Troma film I've seen, and I've seen mostly all of them. Love it or Hate it, you must see this movie. It works on so many disgusting levels- violence, sex, and just pure disgustingness... and some great cameos abound. Can't wait to see more of the Retard Rebel

Holy Christmas!! what did we do to deserve this? Personally, I had given up on a watchable sequel to The Toxic Avenger, what a pleasant surprise, It makes me giddy just thinking about it. Citizen Toxie was exactly what should happen, post Terror Firmer. After the ultimate Troma experience, this was really the most logical, next step, considering Terror Firmer was about the making of a new Toxic Avenger sequel. Well, this is it...

Our long-awaited (real) sequel begins with the most hilarious, most outrageous, first 30 minutes in cinema history. Upon his triumphant return, Melvin "Toxie" Ferd wipes out the diaper mafia, accidentally gets a bunch of retarded ( very special) children shot, impregnates his wife, and unknowingly falls into an alternate dimension. Not a bad warm up. It really feels like the movie has barely started. With an alternate dimension, of course, comes an alternate Toxie. Meet the Noxious Offender, sadistic, killer, crack dealer, just a flat out heel...oh yeah, did I mention, he's now in Toxie's dimension, and he's about to kill virtually, everyone in Tromaville? With most everyone now dead, and a new breed of super hero's trying to make sense of things, Tromaville, along with Toxie's wife, Sarah, belongs to The Noxious Offender. Meanwhile, in Amortville, Toxie, and his retarded (very special), new friends, are awfully concerned, they can't find their houses, there's crime everywhere, come to think of it, this is a cesspool of filth, I don't think were in Tromaville anymore. What follows is the absolute, wildest, most out of hand, unpredictable day in the history of Tromaville...I mean Amortville.

Citizen Toxie is an unexpected, offensive, fast-paced, bat out of hell, but, of course, still has "that Kaufman silliness". We even got our favorites, Lemmy, Debbie, Fleishaker, even our pal, Ron Jeremy pays us a visit. A decent B-movie, not to mention, a masterpiece of a B-movie is quite refreshing, in our current decade. Too bad John Waters doesn't have Lloyd's attitude, and stop making quirky, pseudo-taboo, upbeat, comedies, like Pecker, and do what he's on this planet to do, but that's another story for another day. Citizen Toxie, unlike the first two sequels, stays true to the original, but with the same hard hitting, mean-spirited attitude of Tromeo & Juliet, and Terror Firmer. Our hero, Lloyd Kaufman gives his fans exactly what they crave, more than anyone else. If Toxie 2 and 3 depress you, and if Kaufman's most recent work excites you, and if you love the monster hero, then, Citizen Toxie will leave you in a teary-eyed stupor. Now, that's more like it!! 10/10

As I settle down to write this I see that the current featured review refers to this as "One of the greatest movies of all time" this hurts my brain.

Now I've never been a fan of the Toxic Avengers films, prior to this out of a potential 30 points the three previous films attained a remarkable *Drumroll* 7 points from me. They're dumb, they're silly and they personify Troma films perfectly.

Made 16yrs after the first movie this 4th and I do hope final movie is the worst of the bunch by a long margin and will be one that lingers on my mind for longtime to come for all the wrong reasons.

Our hero (And I use that term loosely) finds himself transported through time and space switching places with an evil version of himself. Cue more stupidity, childish humour and stuff that I don't understand how it even constitutes as comedy at all.

So why the 1/10? For me that means a movie is devoid of all redeeming features and has absolutely nothing going for it therefore are rare entities. Well because it suffers from all the same issues as the first three movies but this time ramps them up to the next level.

The writer was clearly trying to shock, trying to be as sick and inappropriate as possible throughout. Don't get me wrong I'm not easily offended (And wasn't here) and am entirely 100% anti-censorship but this was just nasty stuff. When you actively mock the mentally disabled throught the 90 minutes, resort to making multiple rape jokes and have crass characters whom I couldn't even name or describe without breaching IMDB's t&c's you've sunk too low in my opinion.

The violence is considerably stronger than previous films, it's riddled with camero appearances by the likes of Ron Jeremy, Julie Strain, Corey Feldman and Lemmy "Motorhead" KIlmister and all the usual cast members have been recast.

Citizen Toxie is a dire childish movie that makes me thankful the franchise has died.

This was the fourth movie In the series , I did not expect much of this , no way did I think it was going to be better Then part 3.

I didn't like this movie , I loved this movie , I actually this is the best in the series.

Loved the action packed, frist forty minutes , loved the gory stuff , this next level and It was the funniest of them all.

Small Spoiler , I can't not mention, the scence with thr unborn babies fighting in the womb Was so , I can't find a word for it.

So much much fun too watch.

Its always a problem to review a Troma movie. Troma is a genre unto itself, and you can't compare their movies to what everyone else is doing. They have their own rules and esthetics... and going by those, this is the best film to come out of Troma in years!

Without doubt, this is the most over-the-top, all-out assault on good taste Troma's put out. They even had the good idea to include an apology for Toxic Avenger Parts II & III. The movie is overloaded with gore, sex, breasts, political incorrectness, breasts, sex, lesbians, transsexuals, mutant superheroes... and did I mention sex, breasts and gore?

Yes, it has no socially redeeming value whatsoever. Its Troma. It's not supposed to. If you're a Troma fan, see it. If you're not, you probably won't like it. Unless you do.

The screening I saw was just this past weekend at the Renegade Film Festival in St. Petersburg, FL. The copy was an advanced screening, and according to the festival promoters the editing on the film was completed just in time for the festival, so I don't know how people were seeing this months ago or why the date listed is 1999 on here...

Now that I've purchased The Tox Box and have watched many Troma documentaries and commentaries, to the point where I felt like I was virtually inside Lloyd Kaufman's head, I've grown more understanding towards Troma films. Those Troma fans who've read my comment in my review for Carmen Electra's film, "The Chosen One," probably want to lynch me for accusing the producers of Troma of being shallow and not having depth. Well, it turns out that Lloyd Kaufman actually has strong opinions about the government and its many hierarchies, as well as mass media in general. I agree with some of his opinions and disagree with others, but nevertheless he has much proof to back up his arguments and everyone has freedom of speech. Basically, Troma's known for making "awful" films. In all actuality, it's an outlet for eccentric independent filmmakers who want to get their work out there, but the hypocritical studio system is afraid to give mainstream audiences something different. That's why I'm glad Troma has received a great cult following. If you think of it, the work of Lloyd Kaufman isn't much different from that of John Waters, only Waters receives much more praise for his work. Kaufman and Waters both make satire, only Waters happens to sometimes stumble upon reputable actors like Johnny Depp and Melanie Griffith, and when you have big names to slap on the marquis, you've got it made. But even great actors like Samuel L. Jackson and Billy Bob Thornton (before they got famous) had their start in Troma films. So who's to say only crappy actors fit the mold for Troma?

I still haven't yet seen a Troma film worthy of over a rating of 6, but I appreciate the effort. "Citizen Toxie" is one of the best Troma films I've seen, along with the first "Toxic Avenger," but that's not to say I loved both of these films. But I did enjoy them. And "Toxie 4" definitely compensated for the less-than-satisfactory Parts 2 and 3.

I can tell Kaufman decided to REALLY pull out all the stops. There are moments in the film in which I can tell were just there to make the MPAA gasp. He was basically telling the MPAA, "I don't give a damn about you guys! I'll make this movie as gross and gruesome as I please!" And that he did! Saying he went over-the-top would be an understatement. He doesn't once spare us a gag involving defecation or someone's insides being ripped out. After seeing "Class of Nuke 'Em High 3," "Tromeo and Juliet" and the past "Toxic Avenger" flicks I'm very familiar with Troma's theory of "the gore the merrier." But I can't pretend as if I wasn't brutally disgusted by some of these gags just to make the Troma-philes happy and show that I'm hip. Some gags may sound funny on paper, but on screen they work out horribly. The defecation gag is one of them. I didn't find the "retard" gags funny either. I'm into dark comedy if it's done right, but mental retardation is almost impossible to make funny.

Naturally, I had nothing wrong with the pervasive nudity. It's a Troma trademark, and Kaufman wanted to make use of that trademark as often as possible. All the women are very well endowed, yet they don't look like the standard artificial Hollywood goddesses--which is something else I have to compliment Troma for. Though the women are often very attractive with bodies to die for, they're not as skinny as Calista Flockhart and actually look like girls you might bump into in real life. There's even a hot lesbian scene. It would've been hotter if the actress who played Sarah agreed to get naked in the scene, but it's still quite hot.

Speaking of sex scenes, one scene I could've done without is the one between Joe Fleishaker, the actress who played Sarah and a block of cheese. Yeah, I know. Don't ask. That was simply weird and disgusting, and not in any way funny or stimulating. But there are a lot of sick, demented, hilarious gags to make up for those that are just plain sick and demented. And as I said, the gratuitous nudity helps a lot too. Troma-philes will almost definitely be satisfied!

I watched this because of the same reason I watched the first three, they were on basically... I love 1, 2, and 3 but did not enjoy much of this at all. I'm not going to go down a list of things i liked and disliked, but will point out a few things. First I thought it was offensive (more because of the acting than the way the disabled were treated). Second, I thought it was a little too much like I thought the first three were going to be like (basically soft porn). Third, Too much of everything except the two things I wanted: Violence and humour. And finally, the fact they said at the beginning this was the true sequel to the first film, even though it pales in comparison to the films that came before.

Oh... And what were Lemmy AND Stan Lee thinking!?!?!?

citizen toxie made my heart swell up with joy and pride and almost made me forget my stomach's severe cries of indigestion... but thats what you get for sneaking in celery-flavored soda into a movie theatre, right?

when the troma school for the very special is attacked by a creepy murderous infant-gang... toxie if off to save the day! somehow... dum da dum da... he is sucked into some crazy vortex-inter-dimensional land of amortville! tromaville's opposite! but how can toxie get back and make all right with the world?! and who is noxie?! you gotta watch it and find out... you wont be disappointed!! siiigh... theres just something about the toxic avenger that is just ultimately sexy and thrilling and rock-star glamorous. now go get yer paws on a copy!

I don't know what it says about me that this movie is everything I want in a movie. I gave it a 6 because I understand that people who are not me may not love it like I do, but for me, this is a 10. If I were to make movies, this is the kind of movie I'd make.

Okay, enough of that. Though I didn't dislike Toxic Avenger 2 and 3, they were a step down from Toxic Avenger 1. The franchise drifted into the cartoonish, like the Class of Nuke 'Em High sequels. Citizen Toxie feels like a return to form for the franchise, and as there haven't been any new sequels since, it serves as a triumphant conclusion to the series.

I doubt I can add much to what has been written about this. It's wonderfully politically incorrect--daring in 2000 when it was made and absolutely scandalous by 2023 standards. For that reason alone you should buy it before the thought police deem it wrongthink. Hot babes, rampant gratuitous nudity, buckets of gore, numerous and entertaining kills--what more do you need? Perhaps Phoebe Legere reprising her role as Claire would have been nice, but unfortunately we don't get that. Also, they did my boy Sgt. Kabukiman dirty.

Not sure what to tell you. If movies like Frankenhooker, Basket Case, and Class of Nuke 'Em High are your thing, I think you'll love Citizen Toxie.

Troma films must stop making Toxic Avenger movies! Let's face it, the concept has been beaten to the ground so much, that they have to resort to more ridiculous dialogue and more random shots of female breasts. Not only was this film utterly terrible, I payed money to watch this crapshoot in a theater. And then, I see this film is averaging a 6.5 on the poll!!! Modern civiliation is so damaged now, that garbage like this can be deemed genius. Please, no more Toxic Avenger movies!

I can see how some people may not like this film due to the fact Troma Movies are an acquired taste. With that said, Citizen Toxie is one of the best independant films I have seen to date. It's a classic horror comedy with a superhero twist. Nudity, gore, and violence. Whats not to like? In my opinion, director Llyod Kaufman gave fans of the series what they had wanted for years. After Toxie II and III (which were suppose to be one movie but due to its length was made into two) this movie is a welcome return to what made the first Toxic Avenger an instant cult classic.

Now although I'm not strictly a comedy fan, I couldn't stop laughing when I watched Citizen Toxie. Call me immature but this was exactly what I was looking for. Something trashy you can watch at any time without committing your attention too much. The random breast shots will grab it back anyway. This film had everything a true Troma classic should - gore, nudity and toilet humour all mixed together with a classic trashy cult. I mean, any film that isn't a porno and features Ron Jeremy has to be brilliant, admit it. This is the path Wes Craven should have taken when he was making Scream - forget slick cinematic techniques and subtle takes on slasher flicks, The Toxic Avenger Part 4 ripped it out of about every film imaginable so explicitly that you couldn't help but laugh. Hard. It even went for a crazy twist ending too, but wasn't as successful as more serious films. If you're looking for something cheap, trashy, non-committing and better than The Toxic Avenger parts 2 and 3, this is the film for you. It's not too long and won't take up too much of your time, and you'll be recalling lines and situations weeks after seeing it.

If you are 13 years old, completely mind retarded and drunken you maybe will enjoy that movie. But only when you haven't seen ever any other movie before. I made the failure to rent it. Next time i am thinking about renting a toxic avenger movie i will just burn the money and stare 1.5 hours against a wall. this will be much more fun and less painful.

But if you are think that watching a class of retarded eating tacos is fun. Or if you want to see every five minutes the boobs of not really pretty women without any senceful reason. Well then you maybe should rent that video. And if you really enjoy it, get sure to keep the genepoole clean from you're DNA.

My dive into the world of Troma Entertainment and their Toxic Avenger film series finally comes to a merciful close with the fourth and (as of now) final installment…CITIZEN TOXIE: THE TOXIC AVENGER PART IV. Just as the duo of PART II and PART III were vastly different in tone to the original, the fourth movie feels like a creature all its own in comparison to its predecessors. This was released a whopping eleven years after the third movie, so Troma and writer/director Lloyd Kaufman had plenty of time to figure out their new approach. The end result is a film that tones down the almost childish humor of PART II and PART III, ramps up the brutality in the violence, and goes for every possible opportunity to offend. CITIZEN TOXIE also stands proud as the only Toxic Avenger film that feels as if someone thought through the plot. The movie opens in Tromaville with the Diaper Mafia invading a classroom in the School for the Very Special on "Take a Mexican to Lunch Day." I didn't say the movie was any smarter; I just said it was written better. The Toxic Avenger (David Mattey) intervenes with his new sidekick (Troma regular Joe Fleishaker) and the resulting explosion from Toxie's failure in saving the school somehow knocks Toxie and two of the students (Michael Budinger and Lisa Terezakis) into a parallel dimension while his evil alternate, Noxie (also Mattey), is brought into Tromaville. Now Toxie and his friends must find a way home in time to end Noxie and his band of Nazis' reign of terror.

The Toxic Avenger movies have always been stupid. It's part of their charm. It's why, no matter how bad those middle films were, I can't hate them. In CITIZEN TOXIE, Kaufman and his three co-writers have shifted gears with the aim of offending as many people as possible. You'll find jokes aimed at the obese (which isn't new) and the mentally-handicapped. There are rape jokes, scat jokes, masturbation jokes, and an AIDS joke tossed in for good measure. And let's not forget the lynching scene and the whole abortion subplot that builds to a climactic battle between good and evil fetuses. I'm almost certain there's something I'm forgetting. The filmmakers tossed in anything and everything they could think of to get a reaction. I know the earlier films had their share of crude humor but CITIZEN TOXIE goes for the gold, and in the end it feels as if they're trying too hard. Don't force it, guys, or it comes off as desperate for attention. The film also features cameos from Ron Jeremy (as the religious Tromaville mayor), Corey Feldman (as an abortion doctor, credited as Kinky Finkelstein for some reason), and Hank the "Angry Drunken Dwarf", of Howard Stern show fame, as God. If nothing else, one thing is abundantly clear: CITIZEN TOXIE wants your attention. On a more low-key note, James Gunn makes a quick appearance and, as a fan of SUPER and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, I thought that was cool. I have to say though, despite all its shameless "look at me" antics, this is still the most solid Toxic Avenger film.

The plot actually makes some sort of sense and has an actual narrative flow. This is a big deal, especially after the last two films. It makes the movie a lot easier to watch when you feel propelled from one scene to the next. Not only that, but some of the jokes actually land. I may not have gotten many laughs from the more extreme humor but there were actually a handful of funny bits. The writing wasn't atrocious and I suppose I'll have to credit that to Trent Haaga, Patrick Cassidy, and Gabriel Friedman. I loved how the movie sort of teased a Troma Avengers/Justice League sort of gag when the mayor of Tromaville calls in a team of super heroes to help defeat Noxie: the Vibrator, Dolphin Man, the Mad Cowboy, the Master-Bater (exactly what it sounds like), and their leader Sergeant Kabukiman, NYPD. I had high hopes that this would spin-off to larger adventures of these ridiculous superheroes or at least get me excited to possibly check out the Kabukiman movie. That wasn't to be the case, unfortunately. Their team is short-lived in the span of the movie and we never even really get to see them in action, and Kabukiman (at least in the case of CITIZEN TOXIE) comes across as a drunken rapist so I don't think I need to see that one-note joke through any further (although I did get at least one laugh out of him, in the very final moment of the film). The alternate dimension version of Kabukiman was pretty cool. I wouldn't mind a separate movie on that.

Now that I've watched all four of the Toxic Avenger films, am I interested in pursuing other Troma films? Not so much. I was almost tempted to check out the Nuke 'em High films but I think I've had my fill for now. How do I feel the Toxie films rank? The first TOXIC AVENGER is probably the best "film" but I found more enjoyment in the utter chaos of PART II. CITIZEN TOXIE could've been a strong contender as the best if it hadn't tried too hard to get under the audience's skin. Honestly, the best Toxic Avenger movie isn't a Toxie movie at all; it's APOCALYPSE SOON, the feature-length behind-the-scenes video of CITIZEN TOXIE that documents the miserable conditions these independent filmmakers suffered to bring this movie to life. I may not be the core audience for these movies but I'll always respect what they do. For that alone, it might be worth recommending these films so these peoples' pain and mental anguish wasn't all for nothing.

I had to watch this twice and I'm still not really sure about.The second time, I saw a newer version that starts off by explaining that parts two and three sucked and this is the true sequel.While that helps a little bit, it raises as many questions as it answers.The movie starts off great.Lots of great comedy and action and lots of cameos, including the Sklar brothers as the local news team.They are by far the best part of all four movies.Even though it starts off strong, it doesn't make any sense.Toxie has a fat sidekick and we're supposed to just act like he was always there?His girlfriend is blind again too.I guess that's why they added the extra part at the beginning but if you saw the original version you would never understand what was going on.You should also watch Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD first.He's in this movie and you are just supposed to already know all about him.All that negative stuff aside, it's not really that bad.If this had been the only Toxic Avenger movie, it would have been a classic.Most people who like to watch movies in order will never even get this far, there's too much trash to wade through.

The unrated version that is (the "R" version sucks really bad). This has to be one of Troma's most offensive, yet, most hilarious films ever. I crack up everytime I watch it. From Lardass (the funniest charactor in the whole movie, I wish he was in there more) to Kabukiman (both evil and "good" Kabukiman) to Tito the Retarded Rebel. Definitely not for the whole family. Only for those with a very sick sense of humor. But in the words of Evil Kabukiman, "I can't pass this up!"

Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger 4 is by far the best of the Toxic Avenger series iv'e seen yet{ At least the Directors Cut}. All in all I really didn't enjoy this movie that much but just to be fair to splatter fans I have to say this is the ultimate comedic splatter-fest. This movie contains extreme blood, gore, and just about every bodily fluid known to man. If your a fan of these kinds of films then look no further this movie has it all. I mean it has it all! I really can't describe to you what watching this movie is like. So if your a fan with an iron stomach then this is a definite must see. If your not then this is going to be one strange and gross roller coaster ride for you. Viewer beware, your in for a gross-out-palooza!

Thats not saying much, since I havent seen part 3, but man, this movie is awesome. From the opening where they apologize for the horrible part 2&3, to the ending where Toxie gets p***ed at Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD(I wont say why, youll have to see the movie).

The gist of it is: While saving the Tromaville school for the very special, Toxie accidently gets sent to Amortville(the exact opposite of Tromaville), and Noxie(Toxies oppisote) gets sent to Tromaville. Thats just the tip of the iceberg as many many more things happen, including a cameo by the original Melvin Mark Torgl.

Now onto my review. This movie is awesome, Terror Firmer was kick ass, but this movie is funnier in every area then Terror Firmer was(though Terror Firmer was grosser). One of the things you can always count on Troma to do is to have social messages hidden in there films(yes its true, they do). From Abortion to violence in the media, this movie has a lot of hidden social messages. David Mattey does very good as both Toxie and his evil doppleganger Noxie, I hope he's asked back for Toxie part 5(if there is one, heres hoping), this movie is also filled with many spoofs of recent movies as well as real life situations. From Star Wars Episode 1, to the Matrix, and covering real life. The Columbine massacre and the dragging of the black man in Texas(those latter two instances may offend a few). Of course a Troma film is't complete without lots and lots of gore and Citizen Toxie does not disapoint either, although the copy I was watching is not quite finished so the sound was not quite up to par, but that will be fixed once it comes out. Also that really kickass Toxic Avenger song from the trailer was absent from the film so I hope that gets put in as well. Also Corey Feldman does appear in a rather humorous scene as Sarah's personal Doctor.

This is miles away from the original Toxic Avenger (1984). This is really absurd and over the top full with gore and nudity as gratuitous as it can be, even full frontal. Even the face of Toxie looks different. Looks great isn't it, well, sadly it isn't.

By doing things rather over the top and even dull it isn't an entry for every fan of Toxie. This is really and literally full of feces and p*ss and even fake cum. And it's done by disabled people who are made fun of, it's done by adult penetrating girls and boys and Toxie. Even blow jobs are given by fat guys to normal guys and by nude girls to doctors, yes this is really absurd.

But clocking in over the usual 90 minutes it do becomes boring at times. It's worth seeing for some gory moments and I mean gore but it also did me pick up the remote to push the fast forward or even the eject button.

When I look back on Troma's thirty-year long run as the "oldest independent film company still in business" (a questionable statement, but what the hell) I realize that out of the hundreds of movies they have released, about five of them are any good. The first TOXIC AVENGER, TROMEO AND JULIET, COMBAT SHOCK, CANNIBAL THE MUSICAL and a handful of others possess something which could be called quality. That leaves around 195 lousy movies to wallow through.

CITIZEN TOXIE is a piece of crap. This movie is so devoid of any entertainment value, it's astonishing. It seems that the folks at Troma feel that simply being disgusting and tasteless is "anti-establishment" enough to make their movie a significant piece of work. Well, it doesn't. It sucks.

Like Kevin Smith's hideous JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK, the only audience who could possibly enjoy this waste of celluloid are die-hard fans who feel that anything Troma does is gold.

Well, Troma has officially lost whatever they had as far as making watchable movies. It's time to hang up the masks, the green foam and fake feces and call it a day. It just isn't interesting anymore.
