I grew up watching these little monkey critters in the 80s. To this very day my brain pipes in with "Back up inna trees go da Monchhichis - chi- chi-chi-chi! Monchhichi means Ha'ppiness!" for no reason at all.
The Monchhichis were a group of characters that resemble stuffed monkeys. They live in the trees and run semi-complex machinery while dealing with personal issues like being kind and defending the Happy Works from the very discontent Grumplins. Family friendly at it's finest, this is one of the many shows that came out for after school or Saturday morning viewing. Similar shows included the Gummy Bears, Punky Brewster and Glomer, Rubix the amazing Cube, and Dungeons and Dragons.
